A stolen Tesla automobile wrecked on La Brea Ave after a police chase.
The stolen Tesla, with two car thieves on board, hit two vehicles, with five people in them, and then a traffic light pole.
The Tesla was split in half, with the back half wedged into outdoor alcove between two walls at the Congregation Kol Ami synagogue. The Tesla was reported to have hit speeds as high as 100mph during the chase.
La Brea Ave at Santa Monica Blvd. remains closed due to the wreck.
