Indonesia Independence Day Celebration in LA

Indonesia Independence Day was celebrated in Los Angeles today ay the Indonesian Consulate in Los Angeles. Hundreds of Indonesians and Angelenos came out to watch traditional dancers and singers perform late in to the evening.
Today marks the 68th year of independence for Indonesia from the Netherlands.

Venice locals leave flowers for Alice Gruppioni who was killed in a car crash earlier this week by a deranged driver. Alice's father-in-law and aunt flew in from Italy and visited the make-shift memorial on the Venice boardwalk.
