Hundreds of angry residents from the Westlake area of L.A. hold a community meeting with city and L.A.P.D officials. Many people vented their frustration with the L.A.P.D.'s handling of the shooting death of Manuel Jamines. Several people loudly heckled L.A.P.D. Chief Charlie Beck.
Jamines was wielding a knife and threatening people on 6th Street, when a L.A.P.D. officer told him in English and Spanish to drop the knife. Jamines refused and was shot and killed by the officer.
Westlake residents took to the streets for a third night in a row, after the meeting. The L.A.P.D was ready this time and arrested several protesters.
