A six story apartment building at 614 s. St. Andrew's in L.A.'s Koreatown caught fire this morning. The structure, built in the 1920's, billowed smoke and flames for over an hour. The residents of the building were forced to evacuate, many quickly left with their pets and the clothes they were wearing. Several residents reported hearing gun shots before at the building before the morning blaze.
The building also reported a fire yesterday. The A.T.F. and L.A.F.D. are investigating the fire.
Over 130 fire fighters were on scene. No one was seriously injured.
