Began testing on the Sun and Moon in anticipation of the Great American Eclipse on August 21.
The Sun and Moon both appear about the same size in our skies above earth, the moon is actually 400 times smaller, yet 400 times close to Earth. Those two calculations make the Moon and Sun appear to be the same size in the sky, that's what gives us the total eclipse effect.
Photographed these two images from my porch in Los Angeles.
