The exterior of the new Broad Contemporary Art Museum in downtown LA was revealed with the scaffolding today. The "Oculus" window can been seen from the Grand Ave side, looks like a giant whale eye.
The museum has a way to go before it is opened. Construction and litigation over runs have delayed the museum's planned opening of this spring. It might open in late 2015, no one is really sure. For now, it just looks cool from the outside.
