A "ghost bike" was dedicated at the corner of Catalina Ave and Emerald in the city of Redondo Beach today for a friend and fellow bike rider, Larry Schellahase.
Larry was killed at the corner during a bike ride on April 12 when he hit some debris left on the path.
About 100 of Larry's friends showed up for the dedication and to honor his life.
Larry was a member of the LAWheelmen and achieved his goal of 6,000 miles on his bike last year.
I will miss his kindness and friendship.
