"Dozer"
"Dozer" the dog waits sadly and patiently next to the spot where his master, Brendon "Dizzle" Glenn, was shot and killed by a LAPD officer.
Glenn was unarmed and a homeless youth that lived in the Venice Beach area. The shooting on Windward Ave. in the heart of Venice, has sparked outrage by the community and LAPD Chief was "concerned" by the officer's use of force during the shooting.

Paris Photo LA 2015
Paris Photo LA is back.
This year's exhibit showcases some of the world's best photography.
I really like the rediscovered work of R. J. Arnold. He was a portrait photographer who shot some amazing photos of Californians back in the 1880's.
Leica sponsored a strange exhibit, "Silenzio" by Francois Fontaine, consisting of out of focus images that defy logic or reason. Maybe irony is the best way to feature how sharp their camera's are?
Thankfully Paris Photo LA will feature 78 other exhibiters, many of them with sharp and wonderful photography.
Check it out this weekend at the Paramount Studios backlot.

Armenian Genocide March
Up to one-hundred thousand people marched through the streets of Los Angeles today to mark the 100 year anniversary of the Armenian genocide by the Turkish Ottoman Empire back in 1915.
The Turkish government still has not apologized or recognized the genocide to this day.
President Obama still has not recognized the event as a genocide as well.
The City of Los Angeles and Mayor Garcetti have fully recognized the genocide, and have name a square in Hollywood to commemorate the people of Armenia and the genocide of 1915.

Bates Motel
The Sunset Pacific Motel, known as the Bates Motel to Silverlake locals due to it's location on Bates and Sunset Blvd, has undergone an transformation from eye-sore to art.
French artist Vincent Lamouroux white-washed the property with a special eco friendly paint made of lime and other inert substances. He painted everything he legally could including the property's palm trees. The white washing has given the motel an eerie almost church-like infrared look. Lamouroux named the project "Projection."
There will be a opening on April 26, then the motel will be demolished and replaced by an apartment building.

FBF Hillary Clinton
Took this image back in 2008, when Hillary Clinton was running for the Democratic nomination for president. Saw this Marilyn Monroe impersonator standing out front of the then Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. She was hoping to meet Hillary Clinton, who was going to debate Barack Obama inside the theatre.
