LA Gold

Los Angeles landmarks turned gold last night to honor Jonathan Gold's 58th birthday. Jonathan was a longtime former colleague at the LA Weekly and passed away earlier last week from pancreatic cancer.

LA Fire Print

Just finished printing of one of my favorite photos, "LA Fire."

This image was featured on two hit television shows, "The Closer" and "Major Crimes." It was shot as I attempted to drive down Topanga Blvd during a Santa Ana wind driven brush fire back in October 2008.
I quickly realized that I wouldn't make it through due to heavy sideways blowing flame, so I reversed my car stopping for a brief moment to shoot this image through my front windshield.

The final image is printed at a giant 60"x40" inches, and was produced and printed by the print masters of A&I Photo in North Hollywood, CA. It's definitely a statement piece. Only 10 prints will be produced for sale.
