Whitman Spending Reaches $141 Million

According to Steve Lopez of the L.A. Times, republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman has spent $141 million dollars in pursuit of becoming California's first female Governor.
The L.A. Times reports that with the money she has spent so far, it would be enough to buy every Californian two medium Domino's pizza with two toppings of your choice. The L.A. Weekly also adds "wouldn't you rather have had the pizzas?"
Wonder what we would get from Jerry Brown's campaign, a half tank of gas?

L.A.'s Dopest Attorneys

Bruce Margolin and his daughter Allison are featured in a L.A. Weekly article on prop 19, the initiative that would legalize pot in California.
Bruce, the dean of weed defense, has defended thousands of pot cases along with his Harvard Law grad daughter and law partner Allison, "L.A.'s dopest attorney."
I photographed the duo for the L.A. Weekly article between their bong hits, client meetings, and yoga poses. We finally came up with this idea for a pose. Bruce wanted to sit cross legged and meditate, Allison was to read from a law book like she was his beautiful dream.
I want to re-name them as "L.A.'s coolest attorneys".

Whitman Housekeeper Press Conference

Whitman Housekeeper Presser

Candidate Meg Whitman's former housekeeper, Nicky Diaz-Santillan, held a press conference at her lawyer's, Gloria Allred, office.
Diaz-Santillan denies the claims by Whitman that someone put her up to dragging Whitman's name through the mud in the final weeks of the gubernatorial campaign. Diaz-Santiallan claims that Whitman abused her verbally and financially during her nine year employment, and she is owed over six thousand dollars in unpaid wages.
Whitman stated that Diaz-Santillan lied about her personal information when she was hired, Diaz-Santillan is an undocumented worker from Mexico.
Attorney Gloria Allred told the press that she was not working for the Brown campaign, and is just doing her job as an attorney. Although Allred will not disclose who is paying for her fee.
