Reverend Jesse Jackson along with local clergy and unionized grocery workers spoke with a district manager of Ralph's supermarket today in South L.A.
Jackson hoped to keep contract negotiations between the union and management moving along, before a Friday strike vote deadline.
The sticking points of the new contract surround increased out of pocket expenses by union workers for healthcare coverage, while supermarkets are reporting record profits.
